Hello and welcome to
“The Kick Start Marketers Blog!”
Hey Everyone,
How are you all today, Lesson 11 arrived in my inbox today and so as previously, I was raring to go and get this week’s lesson sorted.
So what was it about - well it’s about upselling, placing webpages after a potential buyer has opted in for a FREE report or paid package and how to go about creating a upsell page.
For some may ask, upsell? One-Time Offers? what?
Well an upsell page is basically a special offer page or link to another product which is discounted massively at up to 60 or even 70% off the RRP. This is way it’s also called a One-Time Offer page as you only get to see this page once and get the product a special offer discount price.
Hi everyone
Right, straight to business today as although the lesson notes are short, there are tonnes to get through. As the title hints, Affiliate Marketing is the subject of mentioning today.
So.. what can I say, well firstly, as we know, I used clickbank a while back to set up my new sales website as instructed by Sara and Tony. The reason that I used Clickbank and was recommended Clickbank was because, Clickbank has probably the best payment processor for Affiliate Marketing and for commission to be paid to affiliates.
Just before I go further on, those who are unsure what Affiliate Marketing, let me try and explain it to you as simple as possible. Affiliate Marketing is where you somebody else promotes your product for you in return for a commission of set amount or percentage of the item’s sale price.
Hey Everyone
How are you all today, lovely weather for some. In the UK, we’re just recovering from a rather freakish snow storm. Hmm.. wonder what caused it - still the best thing with Internet Marketing is that we can work from the comfort of our own home and still make money (well soon anyway).
So what is this week’s course about?
Well, today even Tony, shocked me that he too that he was shocked by the power of Forums and it’s ability to drive traffic to a website. He knew they were good and many other established IM keep saying the same advice, but when he started to track his web stats, that what shocked him the most. One single post on a forum had driven him 17 visits out of the 26 views of a simple response he had posted to a fellow newbie/Im’ers question.
Hey Everyone
Module arrived promptly this morning and so I got cracking on with. This weeks module is about creating Aweber Follow up, a proven strategy which helps builds your list and make you money on Autopilot and yes it does involve some hammering keyboard time.
So, let’s get to the point. As we all know that our inboxes get bombarded with other IM guru’s emails every day, some I’ve know send me up to 5 emails a day. But have you ever wondered how they do it? How they are able to consistently send us so many emails each day and consistently too?
Some will say they must man their machines 24/7 or have someone to do it. The fact is, it lies with the Autoresponder service i.e. email services such as Aweber. The messages you get are automated, messages that have been written up by the marketers themselves prior a few days, weeks or even months before sending it out to you.
Hey everyone
How are you all, right module 7 is a big module, one that involved a lot of learning about Aweber. So I’m going to explain a bit more things in details.
Firstly, the module as previously mentioned is about setting up Aweber. At first it looks quite daunting but to be honest it’s quite easy to set up an aweber form and load it onto a website or blog.
To set up an aweber form, first, you need to log into you Aweber Account, set up a new Aweber database list if you haven’t done so yet. Once done, you go to settings, web forms and then your presented with a screen with a lot of daunting options.
Hey Everyone
Today I was chuffed to bits when I read module 7 - it was like OMG my name and my testimonial was featured on the Course Module PDF File - I thought - what is my doing here? Then it finally clicked in, I’m really beginning to be involved into this Internet Marketing Business and making myself heard so… Module 7 anyway.
Well in Module, 7 it’s all about to do with setup up Aweber Forms and setting advanced pop up forms. This involves adding html codes, importing images and redirecting potential clients from pup up Aweber form to main page of product download or the upsell area.
Obviously, one would ask why would I want to put a pop-up form - well you see, it’s to entice the potential viewer to join your mailing list and to also make money as the pop up form can be for a click bank product, or something that you have written related to your blog/website.
Hey Everyone
How are you, first I like to say that Clickbank as you know has approved my site now and I’m so glad of it too. It was delaying the progress on the course and updates on this blog as well.
So Module 6 - aWeber and what is an autoresponder.
An autoreponder is a program where when it recieves an email it automatically answers your e-mail sent to it with an preset automated generic reply.
What that basically means it simply answers your emails for you whilst you are away doing something else like… taking a holiday
The reason why Autoresponders are great is that there are internet services which do this for you and make this task so much easier. Imagine this, sending out 800-1000 emails individually or have a program/ online service which does it all for you and also allows you to customize and personalise your emails so when your clients recieves it, it has their name and is personalised in a way it feels as if it was specifically wrote for them to read.
Hey everyone,
Hows are you, thought I just post a new update with progress - well Clickbank has replied back to my website approval request and the bad news is that I didn’t put an email contact on my site and so I’ve mananged to get it done last night and am now waiting for an reply to see whether it’s approved.
This process is proving longer than I thought it would and that partially is my fault because I thought I had submitted my site to Clickbank for approval only to realise that I forgot that I had to press the green tick with a piece of paper behind it logo to submit the site for approval.
I was wondering why it took so long - so if you do submit a site to clickbank, make sure you click that button or else like me, you’ll be waiting a long time so don’t make the same mistake as I did. Guess it’s all part for failing forwards and learning from my mistakes.
Hi everyone again – how are you all???
So, lesson 5 Clickbank – this is some great stuff as Tony and Sara goes through how I set up a click bank account with step by step screenshots, why I need to pay a one off $50 fee and most importantly setting up those all important PayPal links, page links, sales confirmation page links etc…. and then simply waiting a week for Clickbank to analyse and approve.
So I guess not a lot can be said of this lesson other than I’m currently still waiting a reply from Clickbank themselves and I’ve just received week 8/9 lesson packs now.
